Description

This edition of the Mumonkan features commentaries by Soko Morinaga Roshi, the beloved Zen Master. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s Soko Morinaga Roshi made annual visits to Shobo-an, the Zen Centre in London. During his stay he would also lead the Zen class and hold lectures at the Buddhist Society’s annual Summer School. It was during these visits that he gave interpretations to all the 48 koan cases of Mumonkan. It is edited by Eifion Thomas and Michelle Bromley, practitioners of Rinzai Zen Buddhism for over 40 years.
