Karma Pakshi (the 2nd Karmapa, 1204-1283) helped form the reincarnate Lama tradition in its early stages of development, which led 300 years later to the Dalai Lamas tradition. A master of meditation and a visionary, he was influential in the courts of two Mongolian emperors, Kubilai Khan and Mongke Khan, and gave both emperors meditation advice.

About the class
A session divided into 4 parts, of meditations based on the instructions of the Tibetan mahasiddha, Karma Pakshi.  His meditations are known as ‘Introduction to the 4 Kayas’.  Karma Pakshi extolled the ‘4 Kayas’ meditations far and wide, even teaching 2 Mongol emperors (Kubilai and Mongke Khans).  The meditation session will include some breathing practice integrated into visualisation meditation. Graduated, guiding explanations will be give.
