Professor Kemmyo Taira Sato\, former Director of Three Wheels\, has  published ‘Great Living‘ a new tanslation of ‘Tannisho‘ with his commentary\, and Great Living is used as a text book.

DESCRIPTION:Monday evenings in term time\n \nTheravada Meditation classes at The Buddhist Society and online through Zoom \nMonday evenings at 6:30pm \nhttps://thebuddhistsociety.zoom.us/j/309948784?pwd=YUlRMHgyT0I5QVNpdkhuN055a3IrUT09 \nMeeting ID: 309 948 784\nPassword: 791738\n \nThe class usually meets every Monday evening during term time at 6.30pm and is for members of The Buddhist Society only. \nThose attending are encouraged to have attended the Introducing Buddhism Course or equivalent. \nThe class is led by Martin Evans and Randula Haththotuwa\, experienced lay teachers associated with Amaravati\, under the auspices of senior nuns from the Thai Forest tradition of Ajahn Chah. The main focus of the classes will be an exploration of the Theravada teachings with particular emphasis on their application in daily life. The class begins with a short chant and determining the Three Refuges and Five Precepts\, followed by a guided meditation\, a short talk and questions and answers. \nGuest teachings are open to non-members \nGuest teachings 2025: Ajahn Candasiri 1st December
